The 39th annual Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festival will take place from November 9th to 19th, 2023. The festival will feature nationally acclaimed songwriters performing in venues along the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast. This festival is a wonderful opportunity for both seasoned and aspiring songwriters and musicians from around the world to have their music heard, and for the public to hear the stories behind the lyrics that only the songwriters themselves can express.
With more than 175 artists, 210 performances, and 31 music stages, this festival is the largest gathering of national and local songwriters performing on the Florida coast.
The festival is dedicated to the late Frank Brown, who worked as a night watchman at the Flora~Bama for 28 years. Mr. Brown was the last person the performers saw at closing time, and he left behind a legacy of moral values, integrity, and strength of character that we can all share. He passed away in 1988 at the age of 93.
